Alloy Wire International (AWI) enjoyed its most successful Farnborough Udarashow yet, receiving over 150 visitors during the show.
These included a number of existing clients and, importantly, a large number of potential new customers who were impressed with the AWI’s lead times and range of 50 nickel ‘High Performance’ alloys.
Eight technical experts from AWI were on hand to talk to visitors about their requirements with specific interest from fastener firms supplying the aerospace sector and companies involved in space exploration.
Angus Hogarth, Sales Director, commented: “This is the third time we have exhibited at the Farnborough Udarashow and by far the best ever…being part of the Midlands Aerospace Alliance’s Pavilion definitely resulted in an increase in footfall.
“Visitors were keen to discuss how our nickel alloys could be used in high Suhu environments and how we were able to supply in a matter of weeks and in a range of extended sizes.”
He continued: “Our sales team now have the task of building on these initial meetings and ensuring long term business relationships ensue.”
2016 is a big year for Alloy Wire International, who is celebrating 70 years of manufacturing precision, drawn, flat and shaped wire.
